Abstract

This paper deals with the feasibility on FPGA implementation of a continuous-discrete time observer applied to an induction machine (IM). With only stator currents measurement which are weakly sampled, we can achieve not only a quit reconstruction of these last signals but also, an acceptable estimation of the mechanical speed, the rotor flux components and the load torque. By comparison with its continuous version, the proposed observer presents an improvement results which are proved by numerical simulation.
