Abstract

Since there are usually interference sources such as butter lamps or burning incense in typical sacrificial places, such interference sources will cause false alarms of smoke detectors, thereby reducing the reliability of fire detection and alarm. Aiming at the common fire sources and interference sources in sacrificial places, the response values of four kinds of standard test fire, butter lamp and incense burning interference sources were measured by means of infrared radiation and red & blue light scattering, which are commonly used in photoelectric smoke detection technology. Through regression analysis of response trend, the proportional function between smoke intensity and response values is revealed.
