organization, in some cases the lack of knowledge of guides, the lack of proper infrastructure lead to a decrease in the number of foreign and domestic tourists wishing to visit the cultural landscapes of Ukraine. Applying to the scientific foundations of cultural tourism creates the basis for change for the better. In the system of tourist activities, cultural and cognitive tourism occupies a special place, since it contributes most to the development of the inner world of man, widening horizons, gives an opportunity to get acquainted with representatives of differ - ent cultures, with the national heritage of different peoples. It is cultural and cognitive tourism that promotes the manifestation of ethnocultural identity and individuality and influences almost all spheres of human activity.
