Abstract

Visible light communication (VLC) is an emerging short-range wireless communication technology using the unlicensed light spectrum. Light Emitting Diode (LED) is used as VLC transmitter, while photodiodes or image sensors are used as receiver, depending on the applications and hardware constraints.
