Abstract

In this paper we describe new and so far unknown protease inhibitors present in the tentacles of the annelid Sabellastarte indica Savingny. At least five different isoinhibitors with inhibitory activity towards trypsin, plasmin, chymotrypsin and kallikrein can be separated electrophoretically.
