BEIJING JOURNAL OF TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE (formerly BEIJING JOURNAL OF CHINESE MEDICINE), founded in 1982, is a comprehensive academic journal on Chinese medicine and the integration of Chinese and Western medicine, which is under the supervision of the Beijing Municipal Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and is co-sponsored by the Beijing Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Beijing Society of Integrative Chinese and Western Medicine, and the Beijing Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and is openly circulated both at home and abroad.
It is a comprehensive academic journal of Chinese medicine and the integration of Chinese and Western medicine, published both at home and abroad. The journal is using the policy of promoting and implementing the Party's policy of Chinese medicine and the policy of integrating Chinese and Western medicine, combining theory and practice, popularisation and improvement, highlighting the characteristics of Chinese medicine in the Beijing area, reporting on the experiences, achievements and latest progress of Chinese medicine and the integration of Chinese and Western medicine in the areas of clinic, scientific research, teaching, and prevention, exploring the academic ideas and methods of Chinese medicine, carrying out academic exchanges, and raising the level of research in Chinese medicine as the aim of the journal.
