ACTA AGRESTIA SINICA was founded in November 1991 by the Chinese Grassland Society (formerly known as the "Chinese Grassland Society"). It aims to report the latest scientific research achievements in the field of grassland, promote academic exchanges, and advance the development of grassland industry. Mainly publishes new achievements, theories, and progress in grassland science research and related fields at home and abroad.
ACTA AGRESTIA SINICA has become a "Chinese Core Journal", "Chinese Science and Technology Core Journal", "Chinese Agriculture Core Journal", a source journal for the "Chinese Science Citation Database" C-library, and "Chinese Academic Journal Comprehensive Evaluation Database". It is also included in the "Chinese Core Journal (Selection) Database", "Wanfang Data - Digital Journal Group", "Chinese Journal Full text Database", "Chinese Academic Journal Abstracts", "Chinese Biology Abstracts", "Chinese Biology Literature Database", and Taiwan Huayi's "CEPS Chinese Electronic Journal". In 2008, it was successively included in the Chemical Abstracts (CA) of the United States, the Abstracts of the Centre for International Agricultural and Biological Sciences (CABI) and Zoological Records (ZR) of the United Kingdom, and the Copernicus Index (IC) of Poland. Was rated as a "RCCSE China Core Academic Journal" in the "Research Report on Evaluation of Chinese Academic Journals" (2012-2013).
