外国语(上海外国语大学学报)

The Journal of Foreign Languages was founded in 1978 and is edited by the Editorial Department of the Journal of Shanghai International Studies University and published by Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press. It mainly publishes articles on language studies and translation studies, and occasionally has columns on foreign language strategy studies, literary studies, book reviews and conference reviews. As a professional Journal of linguistics and Foreign Languages and literature, Journal of Foreign Languages has been recognized by the Office of Academic Degrees Committee of The State Council as one of the core journals of Chinese social sciences. Journal of Foreign Languages was selected into the Chinese Core Journal Overview (Peking University), and is the source journal of Chinese Core Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (Chinese Academy of Social Sciences) and China Humanities and Social Sciences Citation Database (CSSCI). In addition, the Journal of Foreign Languages has been collected in full text by China Academic Journals, China Academic Journals Network and Wanfang Database, and has been reprinted and reproduced by Renmin Photocopying Materials, Abstracts of Liberal Arts Journals of Universities and other professional newspapers and periodicals. It is the only Language journal that has been included in the title and abstract of the paper by the Modern Language Association (MLA) in the United States.

《外国语》(上海外国语大学学报)创刊于1978年，由上海外国语大学学报编辑部编辑，上海外语教育出版社出版。《外国语》主要刊载语言研究和翻译研究方面的稿件，并不定期设有外语战略研究、文学研究、书评及会议综述栏目。 《外国语》(上海外国语大学学报)作为语言学和外国语言文学的专业性刊物，已被国务院学位委员会办公室认定为中文社科类核心刊物之一。《外国语》入选中文核心期刊要目总览（北京大学），是中国人文社会科学核心期刊（中国社会科学院）、中国人文社会科学引文数据库（CSSCI）来源期刊。 此外，《外国语》被《中国学术期刊光盘版》、中国学术期刊网、万方数据库全文收录，并被《人大复印资料》、《高等学校文科学报文摘》及其他各种专业报刊转载转摘，是国内唯一一份被美国“现代语言协会”（Modern Language Association，简称MLA）收录论文标题和摘要的语言类刊物。
