The Chinese Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China and the Press and Publication Administration in August 2001, and obtained the official publication number (CN 51-1631/R, ISSN 1671-6205). In May 2002, it began to be officially developed in China and Grandpa (postal code: 62-246). Chinese Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine is the core journal of Chinese Core Journal Essentials (2017 edition), the Source Journal of Chinese Scientific and Technological Papers Statistics (China Core Journal of Science and Technology), At present, it has been included in a number of scientific and technological literature databases such as Chemical Abstracts, ProQuest CSA, WHO Western Pacific Regional Medical Index, and Chinese Academic Journal Abstracts.

《中国呼吸与危重监护杂志》于2001年8月经中华人民共和国科技部、新闻出版署批准，获正式刊号（CN 51-1631/R，ISSN 1671-6205），2002年5月开始正式向国内、外公开发行（邮发代号：62-246）。 《中国呼吸与危重监护杂志》为《中文核心期刊要目总览》（2017年版）核心期刊、国家科技部“中国科技论文统计源期刊”（中国科技核心期刊），目前已被美国《化学文摘》、美国剑桥科学文摘（ProQuest CSA）、WHO西太平洋地区医学索引，以及《中国学术期刊文摘》等多个科技文献数据库收录。
