Population & Economics is an academic journal under the supervision of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education and hosted by the Capital University of Economics and Business. Founded in 1980, the journal is published in the form of a bimonthly magazine for public circulation at home and abroad. It is one of the earliest journals in the field of demography in China, focusing on publishing innovative research results in demography and related fields of economics, with special attention to labour force population and employment, and emphasizing the research on the intersection of demography and economics using the ‘Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Forum on Population and Development’ as a special column.
