"China Sport Science and Technology," since its inception in 1959, has been a monthly journal supervised by the General Administration of Sport of China and hosted by the Sports Science Research Institute of the General Administration of Sport of China. The journal is committed to comprehensively reporting the latest achievements in sports science and technology at home and abroad, serving the goals of building a "Power in Sports" and a "Healthy China." It closely revolves around the "Outline for the Construction of a Sports Power," the national strategy for fitness-for-all, as well as the preparation for the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, the revitalization and development of the "three major balls" (soccer, basketball, and volleyball), and the enhancement of the modernization level of the sports governance system and capabilities.
