Founded in March 1986, Chinese Circulation Journal is a cardiovascular journal supervised by the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China and sponsored by the National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases of China.
According to the 2021 Chinese Science and Technology Journal Citation Reports (Natural Science) published by the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China, the core impact factor of Chinese Circulation Journal was 4.556, the highest among 21 journals of cardiovascular medicine. The journal was also ranked the first among 116 internal medicine journals by the Annual Report for Chinese Academic Journal Impact Factors published by CNKI and China Scientometrics and Bibliometrics Research Center. The editorial office of Chinese Circulation Journal is responsible for the editing and publishing of the journal as well as advertising, distribution and activity organization. The journal also assists the National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases of China in organizing the formulation and publication of cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment guidelines, technical specifications and related standards, as well as related educational activities.
