Social Sciences in Xinjiang magazine has great influence in China. Founded in 1981, it is a bimonthly publically published magazine. Since its inception, the quality and level of the journal have been continuously improved, and the main columns have been set up: politics and philosophy, regional economic studies, ethnic and religious studies, Central Asian studies, law, culture, history, etc. Xinjiang Social Sciences aims to reflect regional and ethnic characteristics, combine theory with practice, promote reform and opening up, flourish academic research, serve ethnic unity, and serve leadership and decision-making.
