Journal of International Virology, founded in 1994, is a comprehensive academic journal specialising in basic, clinical, pharmaceutical, vaccine, prevention and control of virology, which is under the supervision of the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China and sponsored by the Chinese Medical Association and the Beijing Municipal Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, and is openly circulated in China.
