"Journal of South China Agricultural University: Social Science Edition" is a comprehensive social science journal in Chinese that is published and distributed publicly both domestically and internationally. It primarily publishes research papers in the fields of economic management, literature, history, philosophy, and other humanities and social sciences. It is a bimonthly journal. The journal has been continuously included in the Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI), RCCSE Chinese Authority Academic Journal, and the General Catalog of Chinese Core Journals. In 2018, it was selected as a Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences A-Journal Core Journal, thus entering the ranks of all major domestic core academic journals. The impact factor of the journal (social science edition) has been significantly improved year after year, breaking through 2, and leading among similar academic journals in Guangdong Province.
