西安体育学院学报

JOURNAL OF XI’AN PHYSICAL EDUCATION UNIVERSITY was approved by the former State Sports Commission in 1984 and was published to the public at home and abroad in 1989. The journal was inscribed by the former leader of the State Sports Commission, Comrade Rong Gaotang, with the inaugural words "Strive to cultivate sports talents", which reflects its mission of cultivating sports talents. As the only sports academic journal in the Northwest region, the journal is distributed nationwide and is committed to academic exchanges in the field of sports science and technology. Adhering to the policy of "letting a hundred flowers bloom and a hundred schools of thought contend" and the principle of integrating theory with practice, it abides by national publishing laws and regulations, serves the development of socialist sports, improves the level of sports science and technology, and promotes modernization. The purpose of JOURNAL OF XI’AN PHYSICAL EDUCATION UNIVERSITY is to provide support for sports teaching, scientific research, and training, promote the teaching, scientific research, and training of Xi'an Sports University, and help the college become a first-class sports university in China. At the same time, the journal is also committed to improving the level of sports scientific research, education, and training in the Northwest region and even the whole country. The journal currently has multiple columns, including Sports Humanities and Sociology, Western Sports Forum, Traditional National Sports, Sports Human Science, Sports Technology and Training, Physical Education, Sports Psychology, etc. Among them, Sports Humanities and Sociology, Western Sports Forum and Sports Human Science are key columns, reflecting the academic characteristics and research directions of the journal.

《西安体育学院学报》自1984年经原国家体育运动委员会批准创刊，并于1989年开始向国内外公开发行。该学报由原国家体育运动委员会领导荣高棠同志亲笔题写创刊词“努力培养体育人才”，体现了其培养体育人才的使命。 作为西北地区唯一的体育学术类期刊，该学报面向全国发行，致力于体育科技领域的学术交流。坚持“百花齐放，百家争鸣”的方针和理论联系实际的原则，遵守国家出版法律法规，服务于社会主义体育事业的发展，提高体育科技水平，促进现代化建设。 《西安体育学院学报》的宗旨是为体育教学、科研、训练提供支持，推动西安体育学院的教学、科研、训练工作，助力学院成为国内一流的体育大学。同时，该学报也致力于提升西北地区乃至全国的体育科研、教育和训练水平。 学报目前设有多个栏目，包括体育人文社会学、西部体育论坛、民族传统体育、运动人体科学、运动技术与训练、体育教学、体育心理学等，其中体育人文社会学、西部体育论坛和运动人体科学是重点栏目，体现了学报的学术特色和研究方向。
