TCSOL Studies (formerly known as "Journal of Chinese Language College of Jinan University") was founded in 2001, the main columns include: International Chinese education, Chinese/Chinese Studies, Chinese/Chinese Acquisition Research, Chinese/Chinese teaching research, language learning psychology research, Chinese/Chinese teaching materials research, Chinese/Chinese testing research, Chinese-Foreign language and culture comparison research, etc.
In 2003, TCSOL Studies won the first "CAJ-CD Standard" executive excellent journal Award; In 2007, he entered the extended edition of CSSCI source journals (2008-2009) published by China Social Science Research and Evaluation Center (Linguistics). In 2009, it entered the official edition of CSSCI source journal (2010-2011). In 2014, it entered the statistical source journal of "Annual Report of Chinese Academic Journal Impact Factor"; In 2019, Chinese Language Teaching and Research was awarded the "Most Popular Journal" of Pedagogy by the academic journal database of the National Philosophy and Social Sciences Documentation Center. The journal has successively joined the National Philosophy and Social science academic journal database, China Knowledge Network and other databases, and has been collected by more than 200 foreign and overseas famous university libraries and research institutions, and has established periodical exchange relations with some of them.
