现代外语

Modern Foreign Languages adheres to the tenet of “emphasizing quality and showing characteristics”. In accordance with international practice, it does not judge the quality of papers based on the criteria of title, education and unit, and implements anonymous review system throughout the whole process to provide timely feedback to the authors on their review opinions; it insists on being oriented to major theories and important practical problems, and selects and uses original manuscripts that can guide the development of the discipline, and publishes theoretical, cutting-edge and innovative research results, so as to provide services to the research of linguistics and applied linguistics in China and guide the practice of teaching and learning foreign languages. It serves the research of linguistics and applied linguistics in China and guides the practice of foreign language education and teaching.

《现代外语》(Modern Foreign Languages)是国家新闻出版总署批准出版，由教育部人文社科重点研究基地、广东外语外贸大学外国语言学及应用语言学研究中心主办，向国内外公开发行的语言学及应用语言学学术期刊。 《现代外语》是哲学社科类核心期刊，是“中文社会科学引文索引（CSSCI）来源刊”，“北大中文核心期刊”，“全国高校精品社科期刊”，“中国人文社会科学期刊AMI综合评价核心期刊”，“RCCSE中国核心学术期刊(A)”，中国期刊方阵“双效期刊”，“全国百强社会科学学报”，“美国教育信息资源数据”（ERIC）收录，“中国学术期刊综合评价数据库统计源期刊”，“中国社会科学期刊精品数据库收录期刊”，“中国期刊全文数据库收录期刊”，中国人民大学报刊复印资料《语言文字学》转载刊物，“国家哲学社会科学学术期刊数据库”收录，“中国国际影响力优秀学术期刊”。曾在新闻出版总署报刊司全国抽查的100种期刊中，《现代外语》是英文摘要编辑质量合格、仅有的15种学术期刊之一；已多次荣获“广东省优秀期刊”。还多次获得其它荣誉。
