地质学报

The Journal of Geology was founded in 1922, formerly known as Bulletin of the Geological Society of China, and renamed in 1952. The competent unit is China Association of Science and Technology, sponsored by China Geological Society, it is a faithful witness of China's geological cause, all the major discoveries in China's geological field - Beijing ape man, the theory of terrestrial oil production, Baiyun'ebo rare earth ore, Daqing oil field and so on, can find their sources in it; these achievements once won a high reputation for this journal in the domestic and foreign geological circles. These results have won the journal a high reputation in the geoscientific circles at home and abroad, making Geology Journal one of the most famous geoscientific journals in China. After many revisions, Geology Journal is now a monthly journal, published on the 15th of each month, with about 220 articles published every year, and a total of nearly 10,000 articles have been published since its inception, which has played an important role in promoting the development of geological disciplines in China. It has become one of the highest level of scientific and technical journals in China, and has been honored with “National Journal Award” for many times.

《地质学报》创刊于1922年，原刊名《中国地质学会志》(Bulletin of the Geological Society of China)，1952年更名为《地质学报》。主管单位为中国科学技术协会，由中国地质学会主办，是我国地质事业的忠实见证者，中国地质界的所有重大发现——北京猿人、陆相生油论、白云鄂博稀土矿、大庆油田等都能从中找到源头；这些成果曾经为本刊在国内外地学界上赢得了很高的声誉，使地质学报成为我国最著名的地学刊物之一。经多次改版，《地质学报》现为月刊，每月15日出刊，每年刊发文章220篇左右，自办刊以来共发表文章近万篇，为推动中国地质学科发展发挥了重要的作用。《地质学报》已成为代表我国当前科技期刊最高水平的刊物之一，多次荣获“国家期刊奖”等表彰。
