The Journal of International Studies ( bi-monthly ) is an academic journal hosted by Peking University and edited and published by the School of International Relations of Peking University and the National Society for the Study of International Politics in Colleges and Universities. Founded in 1980, it is published and distributed openly at home and abroad. The journal focuses on academic papers and commentaries in the fields of international politics, regional and international politics, Chinese politics and diplomacy, and international political theory.
The Journal of International Studies has published a large number of high-level research results, and has become an important academic platform in the field of international politics and international relations. At present, the journal has been recognised as a core journal of Chinese literature (political science), a core journal of Chinese humanities and social sciences, a source journal of CSSCI, and has been included in the full text of China Academic Journals (CD-ROM version) and China Academic Journals Comprehensive Evaluation Database.
