Forestry Economics is the earliest national academic journal on forestry economics published in China under the supervision of National Parks Administration and sponsored by China Society of Forestry Economics. It was founded in 1979, and is openly distributed using the form of monthly magazine. It is a national excellent social science journal, national Chinese core journal, award-winning journal of Liang Xi Forestry Book and Periodical Award, China International Influence Outstanding Academic Journal, 2018 China Humanities and Social Sciences Journal AMI Comprehensive Evaluation of A Core Journal, and China Agricultural and Forestry Core Journal (2020 Edition, Class A).
