Contemporary Asia-Pacific Studies is jointly organized by the Institute of Asia Pacific Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the China Asia Pacific Society. Contemporary Asia-Pacific Studies is a national Chinese core journal and Chinese Social Science Citation Index (CSSCI) source journal, representing the highest academic level of research in the Asia Pacific region in China.
Contemporary Asia-Pacific Studies covers theoretical and practical issues in politics, economy, security, culture, and other aspects of the Asia Pacific region. It emphasizes both the theoretical nature of the paper and the practical and contemporary significance of the research. Based on the reality of China, it reflects the latest research achievements of the domestic and foreign academic community on Asia Pacific issues, and strives to organically combine Asia Pacific research from a global perspective with Asia Pacific research from a Chinese perspective.
