Qinghai Social Science is a comprehensive academic journal of humanities and social sciences under the auspices of the Qinghai Academy of Social Sciences, founded in 1980, and is now a bimonthly journal for domestic and international public circulation.
Based in Qinghai and facing the whole country, Qinghai Social Sciences adheres to the guiding ideology of Marxism, correct political direction, academic orientation and value orientation. It advocates academic innovation and academic controversy, and focuses on rationality, innovation, foresight and timeliness. We follow the ideological line of emancipating the mind, seeking truth from facts and advancing with the times, adhere to the principle of linking theory with practice, and implement the policy of ‘a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred schools of thought contend’. We attach importance to the research of basic theories, historical issues and national issues as well as the research of applied theories, practical issues and local issues. It highlights regional, ecological and national characteristics.
