Acta Metallurgica Sinica is a special journal focusing on metallurgy and metal materials, started in 1956, authorized by Chinese Association of Science and Technology, sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Metals, and undertaken by Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, published by Science Press. Professor Lee Xsun, a world-leading scientist in metal materials, acted as the first editor-in-chief of the journal. The current editor-in-chief is Professor Ye Hengqiang, a member of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Acta Metallurgica Sinica mainly publishes original research papers and also invited review papers in the field of metallurgy, materials science and engineering. It is a core journal in China with a long history and high academic impact. Since the establishment of the journal, Acta Metallurgica Sinica has firmly followed the correct publication guidance, implemented thoroughly all the policies and rules from the party and the government, served to the economy and the modernization of science and technology, and contributed significantly to the advancement of metallurgy and materials industry in China.

《金属学报》创刊于1956年, 是由中国科协主管、中国金属学会主办、中国科学院金属研究所承办、科学出版社出版的材料冶金领域的学术性期刊，是我国材料冶金方面最早的期刊之一，刊登冶金科技和材料科学与工程方面具有创新性、高水平和有重要意义的原始学术论文以及反映学科发展状况的综述和信息性文章。著名科学家李薰先生任首任主编, 叶恒强院士为现任主编。《金属学报》一直是国际、国内重要检索系统及数据库的核心期刊，已被SCI、EI、CA、SA、JICST和AJ等国际六大检索全部收录，是SCI所在学科领域唯一一本纯中文出版的期刊。地址：沈阳市沈河区文化路72号，E-mail: jsxb@imr.ac.cn
