International Review (bimonthly) is a professional academic journal sponsored by Shanghai International Studies University and edited and published by the Institute of International Relations and Foreign Affairs of Shanghai International Studies University. It studies international hot topics, introduces cutting-edge achievements in the field of international relations, and promotes academic exchanges and cooperation.
In 2000, the journal was selected as one of the "Top 10 International Relations Research Journals in China". In 2002, it was selected by the International Strategic Research Center of the Central Party School of the Communist Party of China as one of the "Top 10 Comprehensive International Relations Research Journals with the Most Influential Influence in China" from 1996 to 2001. In 2003, it was rated as a national Chinese core journal. In 2006, it became a Chinese Social Science Citation Index (CSSCI) journal. In 2011, it ranked 9th in the Political Science category.
