Big Data Research (BDR) is an academic journal under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China and sponsored by People's Posts and Telecommunications Publishing House Co. The journal's policy is ‘to promote the research and application of big data technology using an open and innovative attitude, to facilitate technical exchanges, to promote innovative achievements and to serve the big data society’. It is committed to reporting forward-looking, independent and innovative insights in the application of big data technology, as well as new research and application results and development dynamics in the industry, cutting-edge research and application of key technologies, and advanced and promotional value of application solutions. The main columns of BDR include Focus, Special Topics, Research, Application, Forum and Dynamics, which cover the analysis of cutting-edge disciplines in the field of big data, research and development of key technologies, cases of innovative applications, commentaries on research strategies, as well as the latest academic news and book reviews. BDR Journal has been included in several well-known databases at home and abroad, including Statistical Source of Chinese Science and Technology Papers (China Science and Technology Core Journals), RCCSE China Core Academic Journals, DOAJ in Sweden, and EBSCO database in the United States, which shows its influence and professional status in the academic world.
