Progress in Fishery Sciences

Progress in Fishery Sciences (Prog Fish Sci) (Chinese title: Yuye Kexue Jinzhan), is a double blind peer-reviewed bi-monthly academic journal in fisheries field, supervised by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, sponsored by Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences and China Society of Fisheries, and published by Science Press, Beijing, China. Prog Fish Sci was founded in 1980, and it changed name from Marine Fisheries Research into current name in 2009. Prof. TANG Qisheng, an academician of Chinese Engineering Academy , serves as the Chairman. Prog Fish Sci publishes original research articles, reviews and communication with a variety of topics in the field of fishery or fishery-related sciences and technology, including fisheries biology, fisheries oceanography, aquaculture, aquatic germplasm resources & genetic breeding, protection of aquatic wild animals, disease prevention & control of aquatic animals, fisheries ecosystem protection, fisheries facilities & fishing techniques, fishing equipment manufacturing technology, and comprehensive utilization & quality control of aquatic products etc. Prog Fish Sci as one of core scientific journals and National Excellent Agricultural Journal in China, is widely recognized by professionals in aquaculture and fisheries. 《渔业科学进展》（Progress in Fishery Sciences）(双月刊)是由中国水产科学研究院黄海水产研究所和中国水产学会主办、国内外公开发行的学术期刊。1980年创刊，原刊名为《海洋水产研究》，2009年更名为《渔业科学进展》，为中国水产领域最早、最有影响力的学术刊物之一，为我国渔业水产科学领域学术交流的重要平台。《渔业科学进展》现为中文核心期刊、中国科技核心期刊、中国水产核心期刊、全国优秀农业期刊。 本刊设研究论文、研究简报、研究综述等栏目，主要刊登水产基础研究、水产增养殖学、水产种质资源与遗传育种、渔业生态环境保护、渔业生物病害及其防治、渔业设施与捕捞技术、水产品综合利用与质量检测领域的新发现、新技术和新成果。 目前所发表的论文主要是国家自然科学基金、国家重点研发计划、国家重点科技攻关和国际合作研究等重大项目的研究成果。本刊旨在及时传播国内水产科学最新成果，推动中国水产科学事业的发展。
