The Journal of Suzhou University (Medical Edition) was founded in 1960 and is publicly distributed at home and abroad. Professor Ruan Changgeng, a famous expert in thrombosis and hemostasis research, dean of Suzhou Medical College, and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, is the editor-in-chief, Vice President Zhang Xueguang is the director of the editorial committee, and Professor Wang Tianyou, an expert in blood rheology, is the editor-in-chief and executive editor. The journal has won many national and provincial awards and its academic status in China has been recognized. Since 1992, it has become one of the source journals for statistical analysis of Chinese scientific and technological papers, and has been included in more than 20 databases and abstract journals in various disciplines, such as the China Biomedical CD-ROM Database, the China Science and Technology Journal Management Database, and the China Medical Abstracts.
