Modern Medical Journal, formerly known as Railway Medicine, was originally published by the Ministry of Railways, Nanjing Railway Medical College and China Railway Society Medical Committee. It was founded in 1964, ceased publication in 1966, and resumed publication in 1976, and is now a monthly magazine with public circulation at home and abroad.In April 2000, Nanjing Railway Medical College merged with Southeast University, and approved by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Press and Publication Administration of the People's Republic of China, Railway Medicine was renamed as Modern Medicine from the 2nd issue of 2002, and the new number was CN32-1659/R, and the supervising unit was changed to the Ministry of Education and the organiser was changed to Southeast University. Modern Medical Journal is a comprehensive medical journal, using intermediate and senior health workers as the main readers, mainly reporting the advanced experience, scientific research results and basic medical research closely integrated with practice of medical and health workers in clinical medicine, preventive medicine, imaging medicine and so on.
