Journal of West China Forestry Science, founded in 1972, is an academic journal published by Yunnan Forestry and Grassland Bureau and organized by Yunnan Academy of Forestry and Grassland Science. The journal is equipped with “Research Bulletin”, “Comprehensive Review”, “Academic Exchange Information of Eminent Scholars” and Southeast Asian Forestry and other special columns, and publishes several special issues in line with the needs of social development. The cover of each issue is printed with a hand-painted picture of rare plants.
