Insulating Materials, founded in 1966 and formerly known as Insulating Materials Newsletter, is the journal of Insulating Materials Branch of China Electrical Appliance Industry Association and Insulating Materials and Insulation Technology Committee of China Electrotechnical Society. It is the only academic journal focusing on insulating materials and related fields in China. It has an important role and influence in the discipline and industry, and has been selected as a Chinese core journal (Beida edition), a source journal of China Academic Journal Comprehensive Evaluation Database (CAJCED), a source journal of China Science and Technology Paper Statistics and Citation Analysis Database (CSTPC), and has been included in several important foreign databases.
