Chinese Journal of Synthetic Chemistry is an academic journal jointly sponsored by Chengdu Organic Chemistry Co. It was founded in 1993 and is openly circulated both at home and abroad. The main contents include Chinese research papers, express papers, research briefs, pharmaceutical technology, and comprehensive reviews on basic and applied research in basic organic synthesis, polymer synthesis, biochemical synthesis and inorganic synthesis, as well as on the relationship between the various disciplines in the field of synthetic chemistry.
Chinese Journal of Synthetic Chemistry is one of the core journals of Chinese science and technology, and was selected as one of the ‘Chinese Core Journals (Chemistry)’ (Fifth Edition) in 2008, ‘Chinese Core Journals (Chemistry)’ (Sixth Edition) in 2011, and ‘Chinese Journal of Synthetic Chemistry’ (Sixth Edition) in 2011, ‘Chinese Core Journals (Chemistry)’ (Sixth Edition). It was selected as ‘Chinese Core Journal (Chemistry)’ (the fifth edition) in 2011, ‘Chinese Core Journal (Chemistry)’ (the sixth edition) in 2011 and ‘Chinese Core Journal (Chemistry)’ (the eighth edition) in 2017, and has been continuously included as ‘China Science and Technology Paper Statistical Source Journal’ (China Science and Technology Core Journal) since 2003. In 2003, it was ranked 710th (39th among Chinese scientific and technological journals) in the ‘Thousands of CA Inclusion List’, and was certified as a source journal of China Science Citation Database (CSCD) by China Scientific Bibliometrics Evaluation and Research Centre (CSBERC) from 1999 to 2018. From 1999 to 2018, it was certified as a source journal of China Science Citation Database (CSCD) by China Centre for Scientific Bibliometric Evaluation and Research (CCSBER), and in 2014, it was selected as a statistical source journal of China Academic Journal Impact Factor Annual Report.
