Partial least-square-discriminant analysis (PLS-DA) and partial least-squares (PLS) regression techniques were used for the differentiation of adulterated DHN from pure DHS and the prediction of adulteration levels.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>The PLS-DA classification models successfully differentiated adulterated and nonadulterated DHS with an over 100% correct classification rate.
