摘要

地域性、综合性和复杂性被认为是地理学的基本特征。探索其核心内涵是新时期地理学科实现突破的重要途径。本文重点介绍了地理研究的重要方法:地理建模与模拟。首先,明确了地理学三大特征的研究要求及其在新时期解决地理问题的潜力。然后,从模型资源、建模过程和操作体系三个方面总结了现有地理建模与仿真系统对地理研究的支持能力。最后,我们指出了未来地理建模和模拟系统的研究方向,以研究地理的区域性、综合性和复杂性特征。在此基础上,提出了地理建模与仿真系统的实现体系结构,并对其模块组成和功能实现进行了探讨,为地理建模与仿真系统更好地服务于新时期地理学的发展提供了理论和技术支持。
