Correlations were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression analysis was performed to identify independent predictors of greater remnant liver regeneration.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Remnant liver regeneration volume on POD 7 was positively correlated with body mass index (BMI; r=0.280, P<0.001) and SMI (r=0.322, P<0.001), and negatively correlated with age (r=-0.154, P<0.001) and the ratio of future remnant liver volume (FRLV) to total liver volume (TLV; r=-0.261, P<0.001).
