The dynamic characteristics of the first reactor of the beloyarsk nuclear power station ‘I. V. Kurchatov’
Results are presented of a study of the non-stationary processes in the Beloyarsk Nuclear Power Station ‘I. V. Kurchatov’ carried out on an electronic analogue computer operating in conjunction with the actual control equipment. The programme of investigations provided information about the dynamical characteristics of the power unit and permitted a choice to be made of the optimum adjustment parameters for the main controllers of the station.
In addition, the theoretically predicted reactor characteristics have been compared with those obtained experimentally by direct study of the object.
