Composed by the energy, control, database, and communication modulus, power routers are intelligent in the power connection and distribution. The power chip is the core and brain of the energy router, the operation state of which strengths the stability of the devices, and even the power interconnection. However, the small size of the chip, mostly IGBT, limited the application of traditional electric power condition monitoring methods. Digital twin technology, firstly used in the spacecraft, seems a solution in potential. The article reviewed the development of the power router, as well as the digital twin.
