Competitive conversion of nitrogen and sulfur compounds in naphtha with transition metal sulfide catalysts
This paper reports an experimental study of the hydrotreatment of an Illinois n°6 coal-derived naphta using supported (gamma-Al 2 O 3 ) transition metal sulfides of the second and third rows of the Periodic Table. The activities of the catalysts prepared for this study are compared under the same experimental conditions to those of commercial Ni-Mo/Alumina and Co-Mo/Alumina catalysts.
