However, little research has been done on the simplified and applied thermo-technical calculation method. In order to improve the practicability and advantage of evaporative cooling unit, and make the unit manufacture standard, a thermo-technical calculation for a plate indirect evaporative cooling unit and a packing direct evaporative cooling unit are simplified by experiments base on engineering optimization theory.
