Moreover, -UVB+I and -UVAB+I plants exhibited an increased performance index, the activity of the water-splitting complex on the donor side of PSII, and the concentration of active PSII reaction centers per excited cross-section. Overall, UV-excluded and AMF-inoculated plants showed the highest quantum yield of PSII and rate of photosynthesis.
