This note describes a pure replication conducted at Purdue University in 2008 that fails to replicate these results. Analysis suggests that, although other studies have replicated the previous result, a difference in confidence which is correlated with student status (i.e. undergraduate, graduate or other) is the main contributor to the non-replication.
