Moreover, the fibres were subjected to various chemical treatments and their effects on DMA and ageing studies were investigated. DMA reveals that the chemical treatment, especially MAPP treatment, enhances the storage and loss modulus values on the other hand it diminishes the mechanical damping coefficient (tan δ) of the composite. Diffusion studies indicates that treated composites shows a much lower apparent percentage weight gain compared to other treated ones.
