Applications of pillared and delaminated interlayered clas as supports for hydrotreating catalysts
This paper presents details of characterization and testing of hydrotreating catalysts prepared using synthetic and naturally occuring smectite clays. It is demonstrated that catalyst support materials made by modifying gamma-alumina with pillared and delaminated clays provide greater resistance to deactivation.
