On the other hand, the Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) efficiency is so high that the required output could be produced in minutes. Our paper summarises the existing CAD/CAM systems that are mostly in use in the design of woven textiles. An analysis of the new features in woven textiles’ design is made. The advantages of the CAD/CAM systems over traditional manual design are outlined.
