Assessing and addressing legacy management needs in Black Chicagoland communities

Abstract This article details outreach and training initiatives that the Community Engagement Archivist at the Black Metropolis Research Consortium undertook to teach member institutions and community groups to document, share, understand, and preserve Black historical collections and archival resources in Chicago.
