Hishimonus diffractus Dai & Fletcher, is recorded from Australia for the first time and H. passiflorae (Evans) is redescribed. H. melaleucae (Kirkaldy) is excluded from the genus. A key for the determination of the Australian species of Hishimonus is provided.
