Toasted groundnut soups (TGS) and raw groundnut soups (RGS) were rich in arginine (2.19 ± 0.00 % and 3.57 ±0.00 %) and leucine (1.37 ± 0.00 % and 2.80 ±0.00 %) respectively. TGS had significantly (p 0.05). The soups were rich in dietary fibre, fats and energy. RGS had higher α-carotenoids, β-carotenoids, β-cryptoxanthin and vitamin A contents. The soups have variable but rich nutrients needed for optimal body function.
