NONLINEAR OPTICS PHENOMENA: Second harmonic generation from DF laser radiation in ZnGeP2
We have succeeded in generating the second harmonic of the radiation from a DF laser for the first time, using single crystals of ZnGeP2. For crystals with lengths of 10.1 and 13.6 mm, the overall external efficiencies of the entire oscillator system were 4 and 6.2%.
