An air gap is used between two dielectrics whereas an inverted patch configuration is employed to achieve wideband characteristics. The proposed design exhibits maximum gain of 5.63 dB and maximum return loss of 29.08 dB at 11.65 GHz and 7.16 GHz respectively.
