ThecomputersoftwareABAQUSCAEhasbeenemployedtomodelthedynamicresponseofsoil structureinthisstudy.Ontheotherhand,theuseofscraptiresastherubbermaterialcanprovidean alternativewaytoconsumethehugestockofscraptireallovertheworld.Moreover,thecostofthe proposedseismicschemecangreatlybenefitlow-costhousesforwhichresourcesandtechnologyare notadequateforearthquakemitigationwithwell-developedyetexpensivetechniques.Theproposed methodhasbeendemonstratedthroughaseriesofnumericalsimulation.Onanaverage,theproposed schemecanreducethehorizontalgroundaccelerationby50%.Aparametricstudyalsohasbeen carriedouthere.
